Now, in the above paragraph I said, "attempt to reduce your cholesterol levels & prevent heart disease" because of the most recent SCAM I discovered about the popular cholesterol reduction drugs - Zetia® and Vytorin®. At the top of this page in the headline, I mentioned the "Billion Dollar A MONTH Cholesterol Drug SCAM". Well, on Jan 14, 2008 in the NY Times - it was discovered that the reason the makers of Zetia and Vytorin never released their clinical studies and kept delaying the release for TWO years, is BECAUSE these two drugs actually INCREASED plaque in the arteries by OVER 200% - all leading to an INCREASE in heart attacks and strokes! Of course, the drug companies still state that these drugs DO reduce cholesterol and that IS true - but that's only because they MASK the problem and NEVER fix anything at the root of the cause - which is what this page will discuss in detail today.
