In both men AND women, one of the main conditions for having optimal sex drive and desire is to have optimal levels of the hormone, Testosterone. Remember, that both men and women have this hormone, but it's much higher in men.

Keep in mind that there are two forms of testosterone - TOTAL and FREE. Even if you have high "total" testosterone levels, but most of it is NOT "free" and hence, is "bounded", then you will NOT see many of the positive effects of this powerful hormone. Tribulus has been used to treat "sexual impotency" for hundreds of years. One of the most well-known properties of tribulus is as an aphrodisiac, and as a putative testosterone elevator.

Tribulus does increase sexual function in animal models, and also improves libido in humans [6-7]. Bulgarian research indicates that tribulus increases testosterone and luteinizing hormone (LH) levels in depressed men who were part of infertile couples [8]. When protodioscin (the main active ingredient in Tribulus) is administered to castrated rats, it increases levels of testosterone, LH, and DHEA [7].

In human trials using tribulus, it has been reported as safe and side effect free [2-3, 17]. As you can see, this is a very safe and effective supplement for increasing testosterone levels and sex drive in both animal and human test trials.

Now, the thing to be careful about when using this potent herb is make sure it is an EXTRACT form, not "powder", "root" or liquid. Make sure it's Bulgarian, as that is the best and most potent. Lastly, make sure it contains a very high concentration of both Sapongenins + Protodioscin. These are two main active components to this ingredient. Again, we have the HIGHEST at 70% & 10% ratio

Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium) is a pungent ornamental herb found in Asia and the Mediterranean. The Chinese call it Yin Yang Huo, which loosely means "licentious goat plant." Legend has it that the name "horny goat weed" came from a herder who noticed his goats becoming more sexually active after eating the plant.

Whatever the "legend" may be, this herb WORKS!

The use of Epimedium as a medicinal herb dates back to at least 400 A.D., where it has been used as a tonic for the reproductive system (boosting libido and treating impotence) and as a rejuvenating tonic (to relieve fatigue).

Horny Goat Weed is thought to work via modulation of cortisol levels (the primary stress hormone). Under conditions of high stress, the increased cortisol levels are known to cause fatigue, depress sex drive and lower testosterone levels - so lowering cortisol levels back into normal ranges is also thought to help restore normal metabolism, energy levels and libido.

It is interesting to note that although at least fifteen active compounds have been identified in epimedium extracts, (luteolin, icariin, quercetin, and various epimedins), the specific icariin extract is noted for stimulation of the sex drive and reduction of cortisol levels.

Again, make sure the product is PURE EXTRACT, not powder or root and at least 30%. Anything less and you're wasting money and you'll have to double and triple your dose.

Eurycoma longifolia Jack, also known as Tongkat Ali in Malaysia, is a shrub-tree that grows in Malaysia, Burma, Indochina, Thailand, Sumatra, Borneo, and the Philippines [1]. It is traditionally used primarily as an aphrodisiac and for improving general health [2]. Other traditional uses include treatment of aches, persistent fever, malaria, dysentery, glandular swelling, bleeding (as a coagulant), edema, hypertension, syphilitic sores, and ulcers [3-4].

Tongkat Ali is primarily used as a male aphrodisiac. In Malaysia, it is used to increase virility and sexual prowess and is claimed to improve strength and power during sexual activities [2, 5].

Many animal studies, both in rats and mice, have found administration of E. longifolia extracts to increase sexual arousal and motivation and frequency of sexual activity [2, 5-6]. These effects are similar to those caused by administration of testosterone, although the effect of Tongkat Ali is not as strong [5]. There are only a few human studies published in peer-reviewed journals, although there are numerous anecdotal reports that would indicate that the aphrodisiac qualities are retained in humans.

"Tongkat Ali" has been shown to support male hormonal balance (including testosterone availability), libido and performance. (FRIM) showed that the Eurycoma Longifolia Jack or Tongkat Ali (Pasak Bumin) also contains anti-oxidant properties, a high level of SOD (Superoxide Dismutase), an anti-oxidant enzyme.

Research has shown that Tongkat Ali contains several phytochemicals (plant chemicals) that support healthy testosterone levels (the sex hormone) required for the male sexual functions. It also supports healthy sexual organs and mental alertness.

The effects of eurycoma were studied on the libido of sexually experienced male rats after dosing them with 200, 400 and 800 mg/kg body weight twice daily for 10 days. Results showed that Eurycoma longifolia produced a dose-dependent increase in mounting frequency of the treated animals. The animals had more sex, more often.

Before we begin, the Alpha-Ketoglutarate form of L-Arginine is about 3x stronger and is 7x better absorbed than regular Arginine that you see in other brands or by itself.

L-Arginine is a nonessential amino acid (the body can produce it on its own) and it is necessary for normal functioning of the pituitary gland. Males, whose seminal fluids contain up to 80% of this protein building block, especially need l-arginine for a deficiency could lead to infertility. As people age the production of L-Arginine decreases and many experts believe this is responsible for many degenerative processes related to aging, thus it plays an important role in maintaining health (including sexual health).

L-Arginine has other health-related benefits related to regulating the blood pressure including improving blood flow, reducing plaque build-up, and lowering cholesterol.

For those who aren't familiar with how the impotency drug Viagra® works, it primarily also works through the nitric oxide (NO) system to increase blood flow and engorge the blood vessels - very similar to L-Arginine.

One double-blind study found evidence that a combination treatment including arginine could benefit both men AND women. In a four-week, double-blind study, 136 men and 77 women with decreased libido were given either a combination product or placebo (sugar pill). Women taking the arginine product showed greater improvement such as increased reported sexual desire in 71% compared to 22% in the placebo group. Men showed an even greater response - 84% compared to 17.6% in placebo (this could be because men have more muscle mass than women).

Both groups treated with L-Arginine reported other improvements such as improved satisfaction with sex life, improved frequency of orgasms, and improved clitoral and penis sensation.

This herb has many functions and benefits, but the primary is to decreases prolactin levels in the body.

Prolactin is a hormone found primarily in women, especially during pregnancy. This hormone causes lactation and therefore, produces milk.

In men, when prolactin levels are high, testosterone levels are low and typically, estrogen and other female hormones are also high. So, the goal is to LOWER prolactin (which is what Vitex Agnus Castus does) and automatically testosterone will also rise.
